Anti-AKAP3 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets AKAP3, the A-kinase anchoring protein that organizes PKA signaling within the fibrous sheath of the sperm flagellum. Best known for its role in spermatogenesis and the acrosome reaction, AKAP3 is studied in the context of male infertility, globozoospermia, and germ cell differentiation. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot detection across human, mouse, and rat samples, making it useful for cross-species comparisons in reproductive biology research.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide, with the working solution adjusted to approximately pH 7.3.
