Anti-AKAP 95 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against AKAP 95 is supplied by Antibodies.com within its Primary Antibodies range. The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit and belongs to the IgG isotype with polyclonal clonality. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and ELISA applications, and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples; a related formulation is restricted to WB, IHC and ICC/IF and reacts with human and rat only.

The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human AKAP 95. An alternative formulation uses a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 600–700 of human AKAP8 (UniProt O43823). The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. It is provided as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide; one formulation additionally contains 0.5% BSA. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of around 100 kDa. Antibody concentration is approximately 1 mg/mL for one formulation and lot-specific for another.

Recommended working dilutions, where stated, are WB 1:500–1:2,000, IHC 1:100–1:200 and ICC/IF 1:50–1:200. The antibody is shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles; for continuous use, storage at –20°C is recommended.
