Anti-AIRE Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to AIRE, available from Antibodies.com. The reagent is raised in rabbit, is of the IgG isotype, and is unconjugated. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications and shows reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 30-130 of human AIRE (NP_000374.1) and purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein migrates at 55 kDa. Recommended dilutions are WB at 1:500-1:2,000 and ICC/IF at 1:50-1:200. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

Supporting validation data includes Western blot analysis of extracts from various cell lines using the antibody at a 1:1,000 dilution, alongside immunofluorescence images of NIH/3T3, HeLa and C6 cells at a 1:100 dilution, with DAPI used to stain the cell nuclei.
