Anti-AICDA Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets AICDA (Activation-Induced Cytidine Deaminase), an enzyme central to B-cell biology. AICDA catalyzes the deamination of cytidine residues during somatic hypermutation and class switch recombination of immunoglobulin genes, and is also implicated in active DNA demethylation pathways. The reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, packaged as 50 µl of unconjugated antibody. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) applications and reacts with Human and Rat samples, supporting studies of B-cell maturation, antibody diversification, and Hyper-IgM syndrome type 2 where AICDA expression or function is being investigated.
