Anti-AHSG Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this research-grade polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against Alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein (AHSG), also known as Fetuin-A, FETUA, Alpha-2-Z-globulin, and Ba-alpha-2-glycoprotein. The immunogen is a recombinant human AHSG protein, and the antibody is affinity-purified on immunogen to detect endogenous levels of total AHSG. Supplied as a 50 µl liquid at 1.0 mg/mL, the preparation is unconjugated and formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is dispatched at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence staining (ICC/IF), and the antibody has been confirmed to react with human samples. As a polyclonal IgG raised in rabbit, the reagent offers an epitope pool across the AHSG target, making it a practical choice for studies of this hepatokine and acute-phase glycoprotein.
