Anti-AHCY Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a recombinant human AHCY (S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine hydrolase, SAHH) immunogen and recognises the endogenous total AHCY protein. The antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4 with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and is unconjugated for straightforward integration into standard immunoassays. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and has been confirmed to cross-react with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting its use across a range of cell- and tissue-based studies. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Purification by affinity chromatography using the immunogen ensures a high degree of specificity for the AHCY target, and the polyclonal nature of the host response allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the enzyme.
