Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against the Ah Receptor (also known as Aryl hydrocarbon receptor, bHLHe76, or Class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 76) and is intended for research use only. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL, and is unconjugated, making it suitable for direct detection in standard immunoassays. It is an IgG polyclonal raised in rabbit, affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen (a synthesized peptide derived from human Ah Receptor around the non-phosphorylation site of S36), and it specifically detects endogenous levels of Ah Receptor protein. Validation applications include Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and ELISA, with demonstrated cross-reactivity across Human, Mouse and Rat samples. For handling, the antibody is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C; users are advised to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity, which is suitable for continuous use when stored at -20°C. As supplied by AFMS at 1365.0 SAR, this reagent offers a robust, multi-application option for laboratories studying aryl hydrocarbon receptor signalling, xenobiotic response pathways, and related targets.
