Produced by Antibodies.com as a primary research reagent, this unconjugated IgG antibody is raised in rabbit against AGAP2, a multidomain signaling protein also known as PIKE. AGAP2 contains an ArfGAP domain, a GTPase domain, ankyrin repeats, and a pleckstrin homology (PH) domain, and it functions as a phosphoinositide 3-kinase enhancer that amplifies PI3K/Akt signaling in neurons and certain cancer cell lines. The reagent is supplied at 200 µl per vial and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous AGAP2 in lysates prepared from human and mouse samples, supporting studies of glioblastoma proliferation, prostate cancer cell survival, and neuronal survival signaling where PIKE-mediated pathways are under investigation.
