Anti-AFP Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against alpha 1 Fetoprotein (AFP), supplied as an unconjugated IgG reagent intended for Western blot applications. The antibody is raised in rabbit and validated to react with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 360–609 of human Alpha-Fetoprotein (NP_001125.1), and the target has a reported molecular weight of 68 kDa. The reagent is affinity purified and provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

For Western blotting, a recommended dilution range of 1:500–1:2,000 is suggested.
