Anti-Aflatoxin Antibody [2E4]

From Antibodies.com, this lyophilised rat monoclonal antibody (clone 2E4) of the IgG2b isotype is raised against aflatoxin and validated for use in ELISA applications. The unconjugated product is reconstituted with double distilled water to a working concentration that is reconstitution dependent.

It recognises aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) and aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), with the immunogen being an Aflatoxin M1-BSA conjugate. It does not cross-react with BSA or other irrelevant antigens, and is produced from the Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line. Purity is achieved by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the formulation is a 0.01 M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2.

For storage, the antibody is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
