Anti-Aflatoxin Antibody [1C6]

From Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rat monoclonal (clone 1C6) raised against aflatoxin. It is of the IgG2b isotype and supplied unconjugated in lyophilised form. The reagent has been validated for use in ELISA applications and is reactive with aflatoxin. It specifically recognises aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) and aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), and does not recognise BSA or other irrelevant antigens.

The immunogen used was an aflatoxin M1-BSA conjugate, and the antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. It is formulated by lyophilisation from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2, and should be reconstituted with double distilled water.
