Anti-Aflatoxin Antibody [1 E6]

This rat monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, designated clone 1 E6, is raised against an Aflatoxin M1-BSA conjugate and targets aflatoxin. It is of the IgG2b isotype and supplied unconjugated in lyophilised form. The antibody recognises aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) and aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) and does not recognise BSA or other irrelevant antigens. It has been validated for use in ELISA.

The product is lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2 and is reconstituted with double distilled water; concentration is reconstitution dependent. The antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography, with an Sp2/0-Ag14 epitope. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
