Anti-AFG3-like protein 2 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets AFG3-like protein 2 (AFG3L2), a mitochondrial AAA+ ATPase that partners with paraplegin to form the m-AAA protease complex responsible for inner-membrane protein turnover. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 100 µg per vial and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. Mutations in AFG3L2 are associated with spinocerebellar ataxia type 28 (SCA28), and altered expression has been observed in models of mitochondrial dysfunction, making this antibody relevant for neuroscience, mitochondrial biology, and neurodegeneration research.
