AFAP1 (Actin Filament Associated Protein 1), also known as AFAP-110, is a ~110 kDa adaptor protein containing SH3-binding and pleckstrin homology (PH) domains that link Src family kinase signaling to actin cytoskeleton remodeling at focal adhesions and invadopodia. Aberrant AFAP1 expression has been documented in breast, lung, prostate, and hepatocellular carcinomas, where it modulates cell motility and invasive behavior.
