ADPGK (ADP-dependent glucokinase) is a hexokinase-family enzyme that phosphorylates glucose to glucose-6-phosphate using ADP rather than ATP as its phosphate donor, coupling sugar metabolism to the cellular adenine-nucleotide pool. The rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent offered by Antibodies.com is raised against this target and validated for Western Blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples, making it a practical tool for research in immunometabolism, T-cell activation, and tumor glycolysis where altered glucose flux is under investigation. Supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot of unconjugated polyclonal antibody, it can be paired with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents to visualize endogenous ADPGK in whole-cell or tissue lysates. Investigators characterizing Warburg-style metabolic reprogramming in cancer cell lines, or the glycolytic contribution of ADP-dependent phosphorylation in activated lymphocytes, can apply this reagent as the primary detection step.
