The ADORA2A gene encodes the adenosine A2A receptor, a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) widely expressed in the central nervous system, immune cells, and vascular tissue, where it mediates the physiological effects of extracellular adenosine. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated preparation at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2.
Each vial contains 50 µl of antibody and is validated for western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry (ICC) workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers studying GPCR signalling, neuroinflammation, immune regulation, and cardiac or striatal adenosine biology use this reagent to investigate receptor expression, subcellular localization, and downstream cAMP-mediated signalling pathways. Store refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity across multiple experiments.
