Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com targeting ADIPOR2 (Adiponectin Receptor 2), supplied as an unconjugated reagent in a 50 µL volume. ADIPOR2 is a seven-transmembrane domain receptor for the adipokine adiponectin, predominantly expressed in hepatocytes, where it couples ligand binding to activation of AMPK and PPARα signaling. Through these pathways the receptor drives fatty acid oxidation, mitochondrial biogenesis, and suppression of hepatic gluconeogenesis. This antibody is validated for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue and detects endogenous ADIPOR2 in both human and mouse samples, supporting research on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, obesity-related hepatic steatosis, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the receptor, and the unconjugated IgG allows pairing with a secondary antibody of choice for chromogenic or fluorescence IHC workflows.
