Description

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Adducin α when phosphorylated at threonine 445. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and is presented unconjugated.

Validated for use in Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), the antibody was generated in rabbit and is polyclonal in nature. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Adducin α around the phosphorylation site of threonine 445, and the antibody is reported to detect endogenous levels of Adducin α protein only when phosphorylated at Thr445.

Affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, the preparation shows > 95% purity by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 81 kDa. The product falls within the Primary Antibodies category.
