Anti-Adducin α/β Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Adducin α/β and is raised against the phosphorylated form of the protein at Serine 726/713. It is supplied unconjugated in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) at 1 mg/ml with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Adducin α around the phosphorylation site of Serine 726. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of Adducin α protein only when phosphorylated at Ser726 and Adducin β protein only when phosphorylated at Ser713, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The expected molecular weight is approximately 81 kDa.

The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
