Anti-ADD1 (Ab-726) Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets alpha-adducin (ADD1), an approximately 80 kDa membrane-skeleton phosphoprotein encoded at chromosome 4p16.3 that caps fast-growing actin filament barbed ends and promotes assembly of the spectrin-actin lattice in erythrocytes and polarized epithelia. The antibody recognizes an epitope encompassing residue 726 of human ADD1, a regulatory phosphorylation site for protein kinase C, cAMP-dependent kinase, and Rho-associated kinase during cytoskeletal remodeling and cell-shape transitions.
