The polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and detects the ADAM10 transmembrane metalloprotease across Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows using human samples. ADAM10 (also known as Kuzbanian or CD156c) is a zinc-dependent type I metalloprotease that performs ectodomain shedding of substrates including Notch receptors, E-cadherin, and amyloid precursor protein, making it a focal target for research into Notch signaling, Alzheimer's disease alpha-secretase activity, and tumor cell migration.
The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated 100 µL liquid aliquot. It reacts with human ADAM10 and is unconjugated, allowing secondary antibody detection chemistries such as HRP or fluorescence to be paired with the primary reagent. Researchers should refer to the supplied datasheet for recommended starting dilutions, buffer composition, and storage conditions before first use.
