Anti-ACY1 Antibody

Aminoacylase 1 (ACY1) is a zinc-dependent dimeric hydrolase that cleaves N-acetyl-L-amino acids into free L-amino acids and acetate, supporting renal tubular amino acid recovery and broader cellular nitrogen turnover. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody was raised against recombinant human ACY1 and is supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, packaged in a 100 µl vial. It has been validated for Western blot detection of the approximately 46 kDa ACY1 monomer and for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue, with reactivity confirmed against human antigen. Working aliquots should be refrigerated and stored at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and the reagent is intended for research use only, supporting studies of inherited aminoacylase 1 deficiency, renal proximal tubule biochemistry, and ACY1 dysregulation reported in hepatocellular and clear cell renal carcinoma.
