The polyclonal ACTR3B antibody from Antibodies.com targets Actin-Related Protein 3B, a subunit of the seven-protein Arp2/3 complex that nucleates branched actin filament networks at the cell cortex and supports vesicle trafficking, lamellipodia assembly, and intracellular transport. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is supplied in a 100 µL vial and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on both human and mouse samples, making it a useful tool for cytoskeletal studies, cell migration research, and tissue surveys of Arp2/3-dependent structures.

For western blot, a band of approximately 47 kDa is expected from the endogenous ACTR3B polypeptide, which migrates in the typical range for a member of the actin-related protein family. For immunohistochemistry, the antibody performs on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. For long-term storage, the vial should be kept frozen at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve polyclonal activity, while short-term handling at 4 °C is appropriate for ongoing use.

As a primary antibody intended for research use only, this reagent fits workflows that probe the contribution of ACTR3B to actin-based motility, endocytosis, and cell morphology, including comparison of normal and disease-associated tissue in which altered Arp2/3 activity is under investigation.
