Anti-Active Caspase-3 Antibody [Assigned #A11021]

A rabbit monoclonal IgG antibody recognising Caspase-3, supplied unconjugated. The manufacturer's datasheet reports reactivity with human samples and validates the reagent for Western blot (WB) at a recommended dilution of 1:500–1:1,000, while the Antibodies.com catalogue listing also indicates IHC and IF among the suggested applications.

The antibody is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol, 0.05% BSA and 0.05% Proclin 300, and has been affinity purified. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 17 kDa. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of human CASP3 (UniProt P42574). The reagent is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
