Anti-Actinin-α2/3 (Q58) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Actinin-α2/3 (Q58) and is supplied unconjugated. It is validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 30-70 of human Actinin-α2 as the immunogen. According to the manufacturer, it detects endogenous levels of both actinin-α2 and actinin-α3 protein, with a molecular weight of approximately 103 kDa. The reagent has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
