Anti-ACTB Antibody [Assigned #AC004]

Mouse monoclonal antibody targeting beta-actin (ACTB), clone AC004, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG reagent. Beta-actin is a highly conserved ~42 kDa cytoskeletal protein encoded by the ACTB gene, constitutively expressed in most eukaryotic cell types where it contributes to cytoskeletal integrity, cell motility, and intracellular transport. Because of its stable, high-abundance expression, ACTB is routinely used as a loading control to normalize protein input in western blot experiments.

This primary antibody is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows and cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated format gives researchers flexibility to pair the reagent with their preferred secondary antibody and detection chemistry, including HRP, alkaline phosphatase, or fluorophore conjugates.
