Smooth muscle alpha-actin (ACTA2) is a cytoskeletal isoform widely used as a marker of smooth muscle cell differentiation and myofibroblast activation across vascular, cardiac, and fibrotic tissue studies. This unconjugated IgG polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers depend on ACTA2 detection to characterize contractile phenotypes in tissue remodeling, wound healing, tumor stroma investigations, and aortic pathology models where smooth muscle integrity is a central readout. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody prepared for standard immunolabeling and protein analysis protocols.
