Anti-ACSL3 Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent specific for ACSL3. It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG in liquid form, formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) with 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and purified by affinity chromatography. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 600–700 of human ACSL3 (NP_004448.2).

Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:1,000 (WB) and 1:50–1:200 (IHC). The antibody has been shown to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, and the target protein is reported at a molecular weight of 76 kDa.

Representative Western blot data were generated using cell line extracts at 25 µg per lane, with 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as blocking buffer, a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000 dilution, and an ECL Basic Kit for detection with a 10-second exposure. IHC validation is shown on paraffin-embedded human mammary cancer, human stomach and rat heart tissues stained at 1:100 following microwave antigen retrieval in 10 mM PBS buffer pH 7.2. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
