Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes ACOT9, a mitochondrial acyl-CoA thioesterase that participates in cellular fatty acid metabolism by hydrolyzing acyl-CoA thioesters. The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, and is provided as a 100 µl vial ready for routine immunodetection. It has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry and shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling comparative work across cultured cell panels and tissue sections. The reagent is intended for research use only; storage refrigerated is recommended, with small working aliquots advised to limit repeated freeze-thaw exposure.
