Anti-ACOT4 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the Acyl-CoA Thioesterase 4 (ACOT4) protein and is offered in a 50 µl liquid format at approximately 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. The antibody is unconjugated, raised in rabbit, of the IgG isotype, and detects endogenous levels of ACOT4, having been generated against a synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of the human protein. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) on human samples, and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; for storage, users should aliquot upon arrival and keep it at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve activity.
