ACLY (ATP citrate lyase) is a cytosolic enzyme that converts citrate and coenzyme A into acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate, with ATP hydrolysis. This primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets ACLY, a key regulatory node in de novo lipogenesis and cholesterol biosynthesis that has been studied in metabolic disease and tumor metabolism research.

Provided as a mouse monoclonal IgG antibody (clone assigned #A9901), unconjugated, in a 50 µl liquid vial. The reagent is validated for Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), and Flow Cytometry (FC) workflows, and cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Monkey samples, supporting translational studies across cell line and primary tissue models.

Research applications include profiling acetyl-CoA–dependent lipid synthesis in cancer cell lines, studying the link between glucose metabolism and the lipogenesis axis in metabolic disorders, and detecting ACLY expression changes in response to small-molecule ACLY inhibitors such as BMS-303141. The unconjugated format permits flexible pairing with HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary reagents of the researcher's choice.
