Anti-AChRα10 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent recognizes the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subunit alpha 10, a ligand-gated ion channel subunit best characterized for pairing with AChRα9 in cochlear outer hair cells and driving the cholinergic efferent inhibition of the inner ear. Supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl aliquot and validated for Western blot and ELISA applications against human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody supports receptor expression profiling, auditory neuroscience, and broader studies of cholinergic signaling. Because the alpha 10 subunit assembles almost exclusively as a heteromeric partner rather than functioning alone, this reagent is frequently paired with AChRα9 antibodies when mapping hair-cell innervation and efferent olivocochlear pathways, and it is also relevant to work on non-neuronal tissues where nicotinic signaling has been reported.
