Anti-ACBP Antibody

Raised in rabbit against Acyl-CoA Binding Protein (ACBP), this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of liquid and is validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA workflows. The target, also known as Diazepam Binding Inhibitor (DBI), is a small ~10 kDa cytosolic protein that binds long-chain acyl-CoA esters with high affinity, shuttling them between cellular compartments and modulating lipid biosynthesis, β-oxidation, and membrane trafficking. Because ACBP also acts on GABA_A receptors and has been implicated in insulin secretion, appetite regulation, and tumor metabolism, the antibody is useful for studies of energy homeostasis, neurobiology, and metabolic disease research.

Reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species comparison in cell culture lysates, tissue extracts, and recombinant protein preparations.
