Anti-ACBD5 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and targets ACBD5 (Acyl-CoA binding domain containing 5). It is of the IgG isotype and is supplied unconjugated in liquid form.

The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) applications, with a recommended dilution range of 1:1,000–1:2,000. It has been validated on Human samples, and broader species reactivity covering Human, Mouse and Rat has been reported. The target protein has a molecular weight of 70 kDa, is localised to peroxisomes, shows low tissue specificity, and maps to chromosome 10.

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 170–440 of human ACBD5 (NP_663736.2) and is purified by affinity purification. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The product is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
