This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets ACAP2 (ArfGAP with coiled-coil, ankyrin repeat and PH domains 2), a GTPase-activating protein that regulates ARF6-mediated membrane trafficking, endocytic recycling, and actin remodeling at the cell periphery. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 200 µl of liquid in a vial and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous ACAP2 in cell lysates and tissue extracts.

Raised in rabbit and protein-A purified, the polyclonal reagent recognizes human ACAP2 and cross-reacts with the mouse ortholog, producing a band near the predicted molecular weight of approximately 88 kDa on SDS-PAGE. Working dilutions for immunoblotting typically fall between 1:500 and 1:2000, depending on sample abundance and the chemiluminescence or fluorescence detection system in use. For storage, the vial should be kept at -20 °C, with single-use aliquots prepared to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity over long-term use.

ACAP2 has documented roles in tubule morphogenesis, cytokinesis completion, and cargo sorting through early and recycling endosomes, making this antibody useful in studies of receptor recycling, neuronal cargo transport, and invasive migration in cancer cell models. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with HRP-conjugated, fluorescent, or biotinylated secondary antibodies depending on the chosen Western blot workflow. For research use only.
