ACAP1 (ArfGAP with coiled-coil, ankyrin repeat and PH domains 1) is an Arf6-directed GTPase-activating protein that coordinates clathrin-independent endocytic recycling and receptor cargo turnover at the plasma membrane. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against human ACAP1 and is used in studies of membrane trafficking, integrin β1 recycling, insulin-stimulated GLUT4 translocation, and macrophage phagocytic responses.
Provided as 100 µL of antiserum, the reagent is configured for western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. Researchers commonly apply it to confirm ACAP1 knockdown or overexpression in cell lines, to probe cargo sorting from early endosomes, and to visualize ACAP1-positive endosomal compartments by fluorescence microscopy.
