Anti-ABT1 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent targets ABT1 (activator of basal transcription 1), a nuclear protein that partners with the TATA-binding protein complex to support RNA polymerase II basal transcription and has been implicated in ribosomal RNA processing in human cells. Raised in rabbits, the antibody recognizes endogenous human ABT1 and is validated for Western blot detection of the native protein as well as immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed tissue sections, enabling visualization of nuclear staining patterns where ABT1 normally resides. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the reagent can be paired with a labelled secondary antibody of the researcher's choice for chemiluminescent or chromogenic detection workflows. The immunogen sequence is proprietary to Antibodies.com, but the antibody is confirmed reactive with human samples and is intended for research use only, supporting studies in transcription regulation, ribosome biogenesis, and cancer cell biology where ABT1 expression is being characterized.
