Phosphorylation of ABL1 at tyrosine 412 is a hallmark of its activated kinase state, and this rabbit polyclonal antibody was raised against the phospho-Y412 epitope to discriminate the active pool of ABL1 from its inactive form. The reagent supports studies of BCR-ABL signaling in chronic myeloid leukemia research, investigation of imatinib resistance mechanisms, and dissection of non-receptor tyrosine kinase pathways involved in cytoskeletal remodeling, genotoxic stress responses, and growth-factor-driven proliferation.

Supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows and cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling work across cultured cell lines, primary tissue sections, and rodent model systems. Each vial contains 100 µl, a volume that accommodates multiple membrane or slide runs depending on working dilution.

From Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent complements phospho-specific antibody panels used to monitor ABL1 activation downstream of oxidative challenge, cytokine stimulation, or BCR-ABL fusion expression, and pairs with total ABL1 antibodies for normalization in quantitative immunoblotting.
