Anti-ABHD5 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as a 50 µl vial, this unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot detection of ABHD5 in mouse and rat samples. ABHD5, also referred to as CGI-58, is a cytoplasmic activator of adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL) and a central regulator of neutral lipid droplet turnover; loss-of-function variants in the underlying gene underlie Chanarin-Dorfman syndrome. On Western blot, the polyclonal antibody typically resolves a band near the predicted molecular weight of approximately 39 kDa. To preserve activity, store at -20°C in working aliquots and minimize freeze-thaw cycles of the stock solution.
