ABCG2, also known as BCRP (Breast Cancer Resistance Protein), is an ATP-binding cassette efflux transporter implicated in xenobiotic clearance and multidrug resistance. The Antibodies.com anti-ABCG2 polyclonal reagent is a 100 µL unconjugated antibody raised in rabbit, validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows with human samples.

The reagent supports research into drug efflux mechanisms, side-population cell enrichment, placental transport, and barrier-epithelium biology. Common uses include probing whole-cell or membrane-enriched lysates by Western blot after SDS-PAGE separation, and pairing the unconjugated format with HRP-conjugated secondaries for ELISA detection. Because the antibody is unconjugated, end-users can select their own reporter enzymes or fluorophores to match individual assay configurations.

Storage at -20 °C in single-use aliquots limits freeze-thaw cycles; working aliquots can be refrigerated at 4 °C with a stabilizing agent. The product is supplied as a 100 µL vial, intended for research use only and for in vitro applications, and is not cleared for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
