Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is raised in rabbit and targets the endogenous human ABCG2 protein (also known as BCRP, BCRP1, MXR, or CD338), which belongs to the ATP-binding cassette transporter family G. The polyclonal antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated for flexible assay design. It is of the IgG isotype and was generated against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human ABCG2, then purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. Validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, the reagent reacts with human samples and is intended for research use only. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Suitable applications include detection of endogenous ABCG2 levels in cell lysates by WB, antigen localization in tissue sections by IHC, and quantitative antigen measurement by ELISA. The 50 µl format is one of two pack sizes offered for catalog number A35860.
