ABCG1 is an ATP-binding cassette transporter that exports cholesterol and phospholipids to HDL acceptors, and this Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent enables researchers to interrogate that biology across Western blot and immunohistochemistry platforms. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl aliquot, the antibody reacts with human ABCG1 in cell lysates and in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Common applications include profiling macrophage lipid handling, investigating foam-cell formation during atherosclerotic plaque development, and studying reverse cholesterol transport in metabolic and cardiovascular research. The unconjugated format allows end users to select their own HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-labelled secondary reagents, supporting flexible detection strategies across WB membrane imaging and chromogenic tissue staining workflows.
