Anti-ABCD4 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against ABCD4, a lysosomal membrane protein of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family that mediates intracellular handling of cobalamin (vitamin B12) and is genetically linked to methylmalonic aciduria type cblJ. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (approximately pH 7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples.

ABCD4 migrates as a ~69 kDa band on reducing SDS-PAGE, supporting studies of lysosomal membrane trafficking, peroxisomal and lysosomal biogenesis, and the molecular pathology of inherited cobalamin metabolism disorders. The unconjugated format leaves the antibody free for downstream reporter conjugation or signal amplification in immunoblotting and tissue-section staining workflows.
