From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targets the ABCC3 transporter, also known as MRP3 (multidrug resistance-associated protein 3), a member of the ATP-binding cassette superfamily. Raised in rabbit, the unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples.

ABCC3 acts as an efflux pump for organic anions, bile salts, and conjugated drug metabolites across basolateral membranes of hepatocytes, enterocytes, and renal tubular epithelial cells. Researchers use this reagent to investigate multidrug resistance phenotypes in hepatocellular carcinoma, cholestasis models, hepatic drug disposition, and regulation of xenobiotic transporters. Its specificity for human ABCC3 makes it a useful probe for characterizing transporter expression in tumor biopsy sections and for tracking chemoresistance pathways in cancer cell line panels.

Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be paired with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents of the researcher's choice, fitting into standard immunoblotting and chromogenic IHC protocols on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue.
