ABC transporters are a large family of transmembrane proteins that use ATP hydrolysis to move substrates across biological membranes. The Anti-ABCA5 Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the ABCA5 (ATP Binding Cassette Subfamily A Member 5) transporter, a protein linked to intracellular lipid trafficking and lysosomal function.
Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal preparation at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, this reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) detection of ABCA5 in human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers studying lipid homeostasis, lysosomal biology, and ABCA5 involvement in hematological malignancies commonly use this reagent.
The 100 µl size supports multiple blotting experiments, and the glycerol-containing buffer allows convenient handling without immediate refrigeration during use. Store aliquots at -20 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity. Intended for research use only.
