Angio-Associated Migratory Cell Protein (AAMP) is a 434-amino-acid WD40-repeat protein implicated in endothelial cell migration, angiogenesis, and tumor cell motility. Antibodies.com supplies this rabbit polyclonal anti-AAMP reagent as an unconjugated preparation at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) with 0.05% sodium azide, validated for western blot detection of AAMP in human and rat samples. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody suitable for repeated probing of immunoblots.
AAMP expression has been linked to aggressive phenotypes in colorectal and breast carcinomas, and the protein is reported to interact with heparin and components of the extracellular matrix, supporting a role in cell-matrix signaling during invasion. Researchers use this reagent to investigate AAMP regulation in endothelial cells, in tumor invasion studies, and as a reference marker in western blot analyses of migration-associated pathways.
