Anti-AAAS Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the AAAS target protein, supplied unconjugated by Antibodies.com as a liquid preparation. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 287–546 of human AAAS (NP_056480.1), and the target migrates at 59 kDa. The antibody is of the IgG isotype and has been purified by affinity chromatography.

It is validated for Western blotting at a recommended dilution of 1:500–1:2,000 and is supported by one scientific validation image. The catalogue listing additionally notes immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence applications, together with reactivity against human, mouse and rat samples; the manufacturer's datasheet specifies validation for WB in human samples.

The product is formulated in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
