Anti-A2M Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against a synthetic peptide derived from human alpha-2-macroglobulin, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is designed to detect endogenous levels of total A2M protein in research samples. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is validated for Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and has been shown to react with Human, Mouse, and Rat tissue, making it a flexible choice across common model systems. The antibody is shipped refrigerated at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
