Anti-A2M Antibody

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit as a polyclonal IgG and supplied unconjugated. The reagent targets alpha 2 Macroglobulin (A2M) and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. According to the manufacturer, the antibody was generated against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1155-1474 of human Alpha-2-Macroglobulin (NP_000005.2). The target has a reported molecular weight of 163 kDa. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% Glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, and is purified by affinity purification. Recommended use in Western blot is at a dilution of 1:500-1:1,000, and one scientific validation image is provided. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
