Raised in rabbit against the human A1BG (Alpha-1-B Glycoprotein) target, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2.

Validated for western blot (WB) applications, the reagent shows reactivity against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting cross-species protein expression studies. Because the antibody is supplied unconjugated, researchers can pair it with their preferred secondary detection reagent, including HRP, fluorophore, or biotin conjugates, depending on the experimental design.

A1BG is a plasma glycoprotein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, and altered expression has been investigated in several cancer types as well as in inflammatory and immune-related conditions. Scientists working on biomarker discovery, tumor biology, or serum proteomics can use this reagent to detect endogenous A1BG in cell lysates, tissue homogenates, or conditioned media by western blot.

For handling, the antibody should be kept refrigerated to preserve activity; aliquoting on first use is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and a brief centrifugation before use will recover the full volume from the vial.

This product is intended for research use only and is part of the Antibodies.com primary antibody catalog covering human and rodent targets.
